EGC Insurance ----Ouch!!! Recommendations

Ha-ha..."accident forgiveness"...! Kinda like pleading your case with the missus when you get a ticket...don't believe it, even for a second. Insurance companies have a long memory and driving history is really easy for them to find! and they collude together to keep your rates as high as the market will bear.

No, The Redhead has it on her Rav 4, it actually pays back 10 percent of the policy 2 times a year and does not penalize for an accident:s

I'm on the south side of Chicago. I pay full coverage 300,000/100/000 $645.00 a year from State Farm. 2005 RKC. They also have my house and 2004 impala. $550.00 on the house and $850.00 on the car. I just don't know!

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but most Ins. companies will give discounts for Anti-lock brakes, security systems and rider safety courses and # of years experience. Just sayin.. dont forget to mention that.

Try these guys out, They were cheaper than GEICO and Progressive for me. Been using them since 1989.

Formost Insurance Company

IM with formost too ..320.00 a full year 09 ultra full coverage.. Had progressive when got new bike rate doubled .. I said NO..

State Farm has been getting pretty aggressive with motorbikes you may want to get a quote from them

I have used State Farm for 25+ years for everything. We get discounts that other companies cant touch. Glad I stayed with them.

In Ontario they base the premium on a 7 month riding season,so if you drop your insurance at the end of the season you don't get a refund anyway. Then the next year they penalize you because you have not had continuous insurance and re-start you at a higher rate.

Steve here in Alberta they do similar but just say it's a one year rate and no refunds. Otherwise we used to just put fire and theft on them for the winter. On the other hand in Alberta we get a few days here and there through the winter where some of us take a ride as long as snow is gone. HAHAHA I pay about $600 a year and that includes that mine is a custom and all the extras are insured too so not bad for a Harley.

Here in socialist Manitoba with mandatory government insurance my premium is over $1900 but with my driving record I get a $450 discount to around $1500 a year. If I pull the plates for winter I have to get the bike inspected before I can re-insure for summer again to prove it's not stolen. Big government is great isn't it?

OUCH Geezer. I thought we got shafted here in ALberta. Course there the government runs the insurance just like BC and Saskatchewan , Correct?:D

HAHAHAHA the "redhead" Back in my younger days I had a horrible memory (and it's improved alot with age :p) so I would meet a new woman and call her "Sally" like a nickname. That way if I ran into her later I would say "Hi Sally" and she would think I remembered her nickname!!! LOL Been married now 28 years and wife still thinks her nickname is Sally. (GOD IF SHE READS THIS I"M SO DEAD !!!) :newsmile03:
