I like a good burger and it's hard to find one that really meets the needs sometimes so we ventured out to do some shopping and tried something different for a change.
We got about 1 LB of Rib eye steak (gives you TWO nice 1/2 Lb burgers) and proceeded to grind it up in the food processor without turning it to mush.
I added the usual sea salt and fresh pepper with a touch of adobo seasoning to the mix and fired up the BBQ and cooked them to a medium state of being. Granted this is as fresh as the meat can get and you know what exactly is in the mix but you have to handle gently because they will break easy.
Well......I have found a better burger for sure. The flavor was out of this world as compared to the usual mix for burgers. Coupled with a nice seeded hard roll that is cut and put face down into a pan with some butter to brown the roll and some sauteed onions with Marsala wine and you're ready to eat like a king.
OK are you ready to make that trip to the store now?
