lubricate

    What kind of lub do you guys and gals use for cables, (throttle, brake cluch etc.) or does it matter.

    WD40 on my bike. Don't think you can hurt anything with it.

    I read once about using chain lube, big mistake. I couldn't twist the throttle afterwards. I had to flush every thing down with wd40 until the throttle cables started moving freely again.

    I use 3 in one oil just because i have it laying about has a lot of uses been using it for cables since my push bike days

    Tri-Flow with Teflon. One of the best multi use lubes on the market! Bicycle shops, Wally World,sporting good stores carry it.

    Bodeen, I use a small squeeze bottle, works good I cant think of any thing MMO wont work on, it is a bit messy but it sure is a good lube, Capital Jack

    I use it too, just never for cables. I'll have to try it next time.
