I grew up in the 60's and 70's. Back in the day, if you owned and rode a Harley, people might consider you to be some what of an outlaw and lower class type person. Remember "Easy Rider" when Wyatt and Billy tried to eat at a restaurant in the deep south. Purchasing a Harley today is some what of a privilege I feel every time I ride. Having said that, I don't consider myself to be a Harley snob. You know the type, people who will have nothing to do with any other bikes besides Harleys. I have friends who ride BMW's, Triumph's and even crotch rockets---all great bikes. I simply prefer Harleys
