I have always done these things on the highway very early in the am when there is nobody on the road.

You're on your way now hdrocks, just don't forget for the first 500 miles kind of keep the speed varying, in other words don't drive a constant speed for too long at on time and try not to lug the motor. Thanks. As you know, the weather here has not helped so far for a good first-of-the-season riding. I was dying to do the engine break-in so that at least I could ride around the town. Though it was pretty chilly here early morning, I am glad I got it done finally. When I got home, it took me over an hour to get warmed up It got warmed up during the day, and I was able to do some more riding. It was just awesome. Happy and safe season to all!!
