service manual download ?

Even better when you take that Harley manual to a Kinko's and them spiral bind it so it lays flat when opened to any page (costs like $5). AJ

Say what AJ :D They'll take your hardbound service manual and hole punch it so that you can put it into a binder? That's the way my metric manual was and I kinda liked it like that.

Just a note, the decision for 150 posts/days was a hard one to make, but it was due to some trolls that would visit our site, download the files, not post or contribute anything and leave...only to resell them (even though they had the HDTimeline logo all over them). There are also copyright issues that had MOCO slamming many sites down...

Now that being said here is a website that has CDs in PDF format...don't know how long they will be up or if MOCO will allow...quality or content but it is here:

Give us your thoughts if it helped you guys out...don't want to provide this and find out many come away dissatisfied...!

But if you want excerpts, use the Search Tab and keywords to find threads related to your desired service activity...we also have many members who have documented their mods and service in great detail...Glider, TQ, Smitty, BigLew...the list goes on and on. Enjoy...and use those tabs near the top...they make life easy (and Glider proud...! :D

I'm a "hands on" kinda person & these service manuals are the size of old Sears catalogs. Not a bad deal to spend the $60 @ your local HD dealer for the manual - money well $pent...Cheers!

Iceman24 is correct. Buy that Service Manual. If you shop around you can find them 20% off @ $48.

Yea, They will hole punch and spiral bind the manual for like $5 or $6. Makes it much easier to use.

I agree with Iceman. Nothing beats a good old book in your hands. You can have it right next to you while you are working, or study it at the kitchen table while having a cup of coffee (or whatever). It is also great to make notes right in your book with hints of what you have found or learned. It is the way to go.........

:p

Sometimes when you put the part number you are woking with in the MOCO web site you can get an installation PDF, I have been getting a nice little library that way

There is something special about that book in hand I will admit. But I also like to be able to sit at the computer, pull it up, zoom in on it for my old eyes to read it easier, print out pages that I really need so I don't ruin my $80 book.

So simply put I like having both

So I tested it to see if I could download yesterday and it let me. But, I did not have to the time to download so I didnt do it. Today I tried to do it again and it said I have to wait 422875 seconds. I have no idea how long that is and I am about to lose my mind with all this stuff...

It says I have to wait forever to download anything?

Is there a way you guys can fix this so I can download a manual for the 2008 Sportster and the parts and accessory manual too??

Thanks

D
