The other thing is most dealers will put HD Syn 3 (semi-synthetic) oil in both holes of your gal's Sportster...that lube is too thing to really make the tranny/primary/clutch actually work "correctly" and "quietly". Good observation to be sure...

Got to strongly agree with this one, my neighbor has been hijacked by the Stealers, until I drained his tranny, looked like water and put some real gear lube in. He will not use syn 3 anymore made a believer out of him
