Weekend ride photos

Thought I'd post up a few shots I took last weekend... did a quick trip out to the Black Hills on Saturday, rode all day Sunday, then came through the Badlands on the way home on Monday. It's a 400 mile ride to that end of the state from where I live.

Awesome trip, but then again, any time I get solo time on the bike, I'm in heaven. Had some rain/mist/fog on Saturday starting at the halfway point (Winner, SD) but not too bad. It was in the upper 40's by the time I got into Rapid City around 4pm Saturday. Brrrr. Sunday was beautiful, and Monday was a little cool and windy. Ended up with a strong tail wind on the ride east and managed to get 52mpg.

Yes, those are some good pictures!

I rode South on Hwy 5 ( California ) a couple of days ago. Not a single thing worth taking pictures of. Still a good ride!
