Bought my 05 EG used with 19000 miiles and had no idea what they had been running.
Did a complete HD Syn 3 change all 3 holes and ran it 500 miles.. Could not get it out quick enough. She had oil dripping from the tranny and primary almost immediatley after changing. Could never find neutral and top end noise. Switched to Amsoil 75-110 in the tranny, 20-50 primary and engine. Could not be happier. Oil leak gone after about 100 miles, shifts like butter, find neutral without a hitch and extrememly quiet topend. I'll never use anything else. On a second note I ran HD formula 1 in my 96 EVO regularly for years and years without a hitch.
