Taking Battery out for Winters Cold

Have to agree. I tried to hook up the pigtail, got it done with some wire splicing, but eventually pulled it all out. Now I just remove the batter cover and put the clips direct on when I hook it up. Pigtail was just too much of a pain to me and not worth the effort.

My dealership said they fit optimate leads to all bikes, new and 2nd hand. Whether it is them or HD I don't know.

It is usually the dealers that do this, as it makes it easier for them to keep the bikes ready to ride.

Dealer option to put on the pigtail, like the alarm/ignition disable for loss prevention verses a little bit more cost.
