Road Atlas

I completely agree that the Delorme atlas & gazetteer are the very best. Great detail, elevations, back roads etc. Very well made, holds up to saddlebage abuse, perfect for motorcycles.

Checked their web site.
They might be very good but a bit expensive at $20 per state.
I could buy their US Atlas set but it takes 30" of shelf space and is priced at $650!
They do come with gold leaf.......

They are more expensive than your standard Rand McNally, but the Delorme Atlas shows highways, byways dirt roads and paths. All indicated by different types of lines so you don't take your Ultra down a dirt path that dead ends at a washed out bridge (those are shown as well). Also indicated are historic and scenic locations that may be of interest. In short the detail and features are amazing.

The research put into these is expensive, but you get what you pay for.
