RIP 8 year old battery

and that's why I'm going to replace my battery next spring. I bought my 06 Deuce in Oct of '05 and still have the original battery in it. It get's plugged into the tender if it's going to sit more than a day.
It's never given me a lick of problem, but it's probably getting close to going belly up. More than likely leaving me stranded in some out of the way location.
My bike is fuel injected, so no push starting it with a dead battery.

That would be a lot more frustrating than buying a new battery.

The battery on mine is six years old , but it will have to let me down before I will buy another one. It's just the "cheap" in me.

Lets not forget it's a great test to see how strong your Regulator and Stator really are.

As Hoople says its the Stat and Regulator that suffer , be happy with 5 years ... Stat and regulator are far more expensive and labor intensive to change... just me humble opionion
