Having worked in USAF aircraft maintenance AR&R, my favorite corrective action for pilot reported CNDs was..

"Remove and replace cockpit stick actuator. OPS check next flight."

I signed one off one time "R&R nut behind control quadrant...checked 4.0 next flight with replacement nut installed." The Maintenance Officer didn't see the humor in the signoff. Oh well.:dknow
