Thanks glider, What oil do you recommend? I have heard good things and bad things about Syn-3, I guess I use it since its easy to just put it in everything. Would love some more info on what is the best oil for my bike
Syn 3 is a poor choice being it is a group 3 "blend" and not a true synthetic even thou the price is comparable with a true synthetic. It shouldn't be in the transmission, it's not a good choice at all for gears. Not to even mention where the oil comes from (Hugo Chavez)

Thanks Glider. I did call them and they are the same price after shipping as HD dealer wants here locally. I was hoping to find an alternative for a few bucks cheaper. I guess I am a cheeeeeep skate! LOL!

I like running the Mobil 1 20/50 full syntheric in the primary and engine oil. I tried the spectro gear oil (75wt i think) in my tranny and shifting is smoother, can find neutral now without nudging the bike forward too.
