Need some help/advice

I currently have a toe shifter, of which I'm adding a heel shifter to. The previous owner had a cap on the stud. How does this cap come off?

There should be a recessed allen head screw holding it on.

Set screw with loctite probably on the threads:s

When set screw is found, if difficult to remove try heating cover with a hair dryer to loosen loctite....

There should be a recessed allen head screw holding it on.

And usually the set screw is facing downward so it doesn't show.

It took me all of 15 mins, start to finish...heck even a Caveman (or a mechanical incompetent like me) could do it..

I'm one of those that prefers the toe shift only. There should be a small hex set screw on the under side. At least that's the way mine is.
