I know this is an old thread but I figured I would add to it instead of starting a new one. I installed new rotors and pads today. The rotors are new Thunderstars and the pads are Lyndall Z+. I plan on testing tomorrow. I went with the Lyndall pad after reading all of the reviews on this site. I hope they're as good as everyone says.
A couple of things I did notice. The disclaimer on the back of the package had to have been written by a paranoid attorney and I've never seen a pad that didn't need a little break-in. I plan on taking it easy the first hundred miles or so.
