Just be thankful you don't have the "auto-retractable" one like on an old BMW...can't tell you how close I came to dropping it a number of times. Manufacturer thought they were doing you a favor...yech :newsmile061:
Due to having had many different makes of bike i always got used to parking a bike with the nose up hill yes the harley system is good and i dont think on a slight down hill it would go but just old habits die hard and ill keep my nose up
just as stated before the simplest and safest way to be sure it wont go anywhere is to shut her down and pop it in 1st gear then set it on the jiffy. cheapest, easyest and fastes fix available.
Of all the thinks I had to get accustom to on the new Harley, it was the jiffy that freaked me out the most. It worked amazing well, since places I can part the Ultra, the old FJR would have rolled away or fell over.
