Fuel mileage

08 Ultra - factory stock - 43-45 on the highway, this is after 30,000 miles

08 FXDB - Stage 1 (SE A/C, Reinhart Doublebacks, ThunderMax) - Maybe 40 on the highway, usually ridden locally, as low as 32, as high as 36 - 13,500 miles total

07 Streetbob cycleshack turn outs K n air filter 7000 miles in town 42 on the highway@ 78mph about 50 cant complain yet

I usually get around 45 miles to the gallon, I have a 2007 Road Glide with slip on mufflers, and did nothing to the engine.

I'm also one of the ones that checks with each fillup. '94 FLSTC, EV27 cam, reworked CV carb, Dyna 2000ign, Python slash cut, SE pushrods-42 to 49 MPG. '05 FLTRI, 26G cams, SERT, SE pushrods, Python slash true duels-41 to 48 MPG. Both bikes have stock 5 speed trans and 16" wheels. I'm really happy with the performance and MPG of both bikes.

• '01 Road King Police
• 88 inch MM injected
• 5 speed with 3.37 ratio primary (cruise 55MPH @ 2500RPM)
• Bone stock except for drilled muffler rear baffles
• SAE 60 straight weight in engine
• Royal Purple in tranny
• Always on back country roads mostly 45-60 MPH
• Always with a passenger, combined body weight about 430 lbs (won’t divulge who’s who over fear of divorce)
• Mileage 39-42 dependant on number of stops along the way. I check at each fill-up while waiting for the wife to get out of the bathroom

With my 2003 883 Sportster I got around 48-50 with the above same riding conditions

I get 50 mpg on a trip on my 09 FLHT at 60-65mph.
Around town is a fair bit less though I've never measured it accurately.

Stock 96 motor
SE A/C
SEPT
V&H slip ons

As one would expect, the more miles i put on it the better it is getting.

With my ultra ltd being new and totaly stock i am getting between 41-43 riding 2-up. Riding solo im sure it is a little better but between my wife and my 10 yr old son i havent been able to check it. My wifes 05 deluxe gets a solid 50mpg and runs like a top! By the way 75% backroads and 25% freeway.

09 Dyna, 31 MPG City (1-4 gears Only) 41 MPG Hyway. Running open loop with no A/F ratio greater than 13.5 to 1. I know I am wasting money but I Love it on the Fat side!:p

Hoop!
