A year or so back I found a split on the front tire of my GL1500. The tire in question was a Dunlop Elite II. The dealer said he contacted Dunlop for replacement and informed me that they said it would not be covered under warranty. They tried to tell me it was intentionally done which I thought was total BS. I never had anyone ever touch my bikes in over 30 years, much less up here in NH.
The tire was replaced at my cost although they did not charge labor. The tire was only a year or so old. No I wonder even though it is too late to recover any costs.
