If it turns out that this relieving pressure is the answer. You need to clean/clear your vent tube.

If it happens again, and I am sure that it will but it does happen infrequently, I will open the gas cap and see if it helps. If that works then for sure I will clean the vent tube.
I suppose it wouldn't hurt anything to just go ahead and clean it anyway just to be on the safe side.
