block under kickstand

Only bad thing about a block of wood is it could kick out and then OH OH

Actually, the wood indents a bit and does not slip around. But if you are really worried, HD has the Jiffy Stand Coaster, that has a V groove to prevent slipping, works great, and at $5.95 a bargain. There is a little hole so you can put a small string thru to pick it up when you are finished with it, even when astride the bike.

on my 98 EVO, has a drain hose instead of plug. Start out on jiffy but sit on bike to stand it up and get a little more out (6 oz?). Helps me sleep better at night!!!! LOL

Put mine up on jack for fluid changes - oil drain pan works great & makes for less mess. Another plus, can get under bike for some deep cleaning underneath...lots of road grime down there.

If you block it be careful and dont use too big a block. I dropped my bagger like that while working on it. Didnt hurt it but could have. Im sure everyones common sense is a little better than mine is some days.
