Bad Regulator/Bike Won't Start

Hey All,

I'm at a loss now, my new wiring harness arrived, so I've begun the tear down process and discovered that my ignition module is not connected...... (EDIT) , is this possible, the wires that run from the timing cover run directly to the coil so because of this mod, is the ignition module not required? If so no biggie I can go with the flow. Any advice would be welcomed.

If you have an aftermarket ignition mod in the nose cone it will run direct to the coil and sometimes the OEM ignition is left in place but not hooked up.
