The wires on the new switches are slightly different from the pre `96, the changes were due to the fact that some of the components receive power from different sources on the newer models (the turn signals now get power from the TSM, instead of the flasher).
Right Hand Switch Assembly:
1) The Orange/White wire goes to the Turn Signal Switch and also the Brake Light Switch, you need to separate these wires.
2) Orange/White wire from turn signal switch: connect to the green wire at the harness connector (power coming from flasher).
3) White/Brown wire from turn signal switch: connect to Brown wire at harness connector (power going to signal lamps).
4) Orange/White wire from brake light switch: connect to Orange wire at harness connector (power from accessory breaker).
5) Red/Yellow wire from brake light switch: connect to Red wire at harness connector (power to brake lamp).
6) White/Black wire from kill switch: connect to white wire at harness connector (power to coil).
7) Gray wire from kill switch: connect to gray wire at harness connector (power from ignition breaker).
8) Black/Red wire from start switch to black wire at harness connector (power to starter relay).
Left Hand Switch Assembly:
1) Orange/White wires at turn signal switch and horn switch must be separated.
2) Orange/White wire from turn signal switch: connect to green wire @ harness connector (power from flasher).
3) White/Violet wire from turn signal switch: connect to violet wire @ harness connector (power to lamps).
4) White wire from headlight switch: connect to white wire @ harness connector (power to headlight high beam).
5) Yellow wire from headlight switch: connect to yellow wire @ harness connector (power to headlight low beam).
6) Blue wire from headlight switch: connect to blue wire @ harness connector (power from lighting breaker).
7) Orange/White wire from horn switch: connect to orange wire @harness connector (power from accessory breaker).
8) Black from horn switch: connect to black wire @ harness connector (power to horn).
