I agree with Russ, A Dyna is a decent bike but for long rides ya can't beat a bagger. As this is your 1st Harley the Dayna should fit the bill and you can always trade up in the future.

The dyna series is a better riding chasis than an Ultra and faster
The Sporster is the KING stop light to stop light
If it were nit for the Dyna The Softail probably would not have made it and certainly not the V Rod
It was meant for the Street racers to compete against the Imports
Dont let any one knock you, The Dyna you have is 1 of the best machines the MOCO has ever produced, and that is not JMO No flaming just the truth
