08 Clutch problem

I feel your frustration! Definately sounds like something amiss in the clutch pack, I may be wrong but I don't believe there is a throw out bearing involved in the clutch set up. I'm sure Glider will chime in with some insight eventually. :D Good luck, I'll be curious to find the culprit! :yeahright
Told ya!:57:

This is the thing, My mechanic tells me that he has backed it off 1/2 a turn as the specs tell you to and that only lasted around 2Hrs into my journey. I am of the opinion that it might be a faulty diaphram. Cause I don't know what else it could be

I guess I'll find out in a couple of days for when he calls me to say job done.
I will also question whether he is adjusting it hot or cold.
I'd like to thank you all for sharing light on this matter.

The 08 touring manual says 1/2 to1 turn and work the lever to full pull three times to insure the balls are seated in the ramp, sounds like maybe opening the other side might be in order? I'm not knockin your mechanic but could be something in the clutch release cover is out of place, he had to open it to change cables. At any rate good luck!
