will this seat work on my 2000 model 883??

i'm looking at buying a king and queen seat from a 1993 sportster, i have a 2000 model, will it fit mine?? the guy i'm lookin at it from says it didn't fit his 2001 xl

Most k/q seats Ive seen are custom applications but a good friend of mine had one on his 91 883,ill ask next time i talk to him and get back to you

My friend had his custom made, dont know if thats always the case

It is all dependent on the fuel tank fitment...as the fender if compatible may already have mounting holes for the seat mount inserts. Usually a good HD parts guy will know or have the resources to find out for you.
