will a velocity stack work as good as a high flow filter??

i'm looking at this to go on my bike for looks aswell as funtion, it has a good filter and it's not restricted, please look and let me know what you think?
and it's in my budget this close to x-mas.

its more for looks than anything but wont work too bad, when it comes to intakes nothing works aswell as a good velocity stack
