what type of carburetor in sportster

Hey folks Im looking at changing air filter and gettin confused with type of carburetor is in my sportster custom year 01
what is a S&S and what is a CV

This is a CV carb and unless it was changed you will probably have a CV carb on it.

The S&S is a bit smaller and would have the S&S logo on the body of the carb.

The kehein cv carb is what is fitted at the factory by Harley Davidson it is on occasion replaced by the owner with aftermarket carbs from S&S or Mikuni
