Tar Snakes

Has anyone else noticed that the snakes seem to be slicker this year?

Well, that's a given. It seems as though they have changed the material that is being used and they are slicker than usual......even when it's cool.

Hadn't noticed.I always try to avoid em. Occasionally I'll hit one without seeing it.It's a wake-up call! Especially if your on an angle.

I hate those things. But what I dislike even more is when they mill the road surface down before a resurface.

I came across a Fresh oil sign today,and turned around.First they mill it,then the oil.

Well at least they may be doing repairs in your area.
Here the only difference between a worn out dirt road and our (75%) streets is the multi layer of poor pavement keeps the dust down.

I hate tar snakes! Anything else that comes off an idiots cage for that matter. But big rigs are the worst. I caught a lit cigarette once in my lap from a car. Rolled up alongside the moron and said "No thanks, I don't smoke". And threw it back at him. We were doing 35-40 mph. It missed his head and went into his back seat. I don't even think he noticed it! I've had friends go down from everything from a flattened gas cap to to a 4"bolt. It's dangerous out there. You have to keep looking out.

around here they call it "chip and seal". It definitely has a negative wind coefficient........it sucks!!!
