It has motor 60FL8928, which is obviously not an FLH. The motor number, here, is one of the peculiar ones where the year has a round-back “6” stamped in it, instead of a straight-back “6”, and the production number portion of the motor number has a straight-back “9”, as discussed in Chapter One. By 1962, the year portion returns to using the straight-back “6”. It is equipped with the 1961 Chrome Finish Group A'F-1 plus optional DeLuxe solo seat in place of the standard solo seat and optional white-wall tire.

1962 prototype FLHF (Super Sport-Foot Shift)
It is equipped with the 1962 Chrome Finish Group tF-1 plus optional DeLuxe solo seat in place of the standard solo seat and optional whitewall tire. Missing from the prototype’s 1962 chrome group is the mirror, not included in earlier chrome groups. The "H” decal appears on both sides of the oil tank on FLH models.

1961 prototype FLHF (Super Sport-Foot Shift)
It has motor 60FL8928, which is obviously not an FLH. The motor number, here, is one of the peculiar ones where the year has a round-back “6” stamped in it, instead of a straight-back “6”, and the production number portion of the motor number has a straight-back “9”, as discussed in Chapter One. By 1962, the year portion returns to using the straight-back “6”. It is equipped with the 1961 Chrome Finish Group A'F-1 plus optional DeLuxe solo seat in place of the standard solo seat and optional white-wall tire.
