stage 1 options

I am going to upgrade air cleaner to stage 1. Of the options out there is one any better than the others. Dont want it to stick out any further that stock if possible. I am leaning towards SE. I have 98 superglide with CV carb, SE II exhaust.

Hard to beat the SE stage 1 with a K&N filter.

Is the KN filter standard with kit or is it a replacement for kit filter? Does the KN flow better or is it just to get the reuseable option?

Better flow and reusable are the options. It's a replacement unless you build your own.

Looked at "Build your own" unless I read it wrong it is for EFI not carb
