I have a 2009 Road King Classic and would like to change out the plastic side covers for stainless steel covers. Would metal side covers effect the signal from the key-fong? Or is the receiver somewhere else on the bike? Is anyone aware of a company that makes stainless steel or chrome side covers for the 2009 models?
