Service Manual

I need a service manual for my 2006 Ultra. Can anyone recommend a good source? I googled it and found multiple links to download a manual in PDF format, supposedly the same one used by the dealership. Is that the way to go, or is there a hardcopy out there that I should buy?

I agree with what Smitty has said above. The aftermarket manuals do not cover EVERYTHING that changes year to year and within a model. Get the HD Factory Service Manual that covers your bikes year and model. They are not that expensive new from the Dealerships, but you may be able to save a buck or two searching online.

They show them in the Harley catalog @ 60.00 for service manual and 60.00 for the electrical manual. Hoghunter

Thanks Glider! Just thought if myself and others were made aware it might help all to keep within the forums courtesy and guidelines.

The guys here are awesome in comparison to some of the other forums. I always appreciate the replies/responses from specially you and Hobbit.

Anyone that gets into a grey area will get notified via PM what is coming next so if they continue, they were told beforehand and it's their choice then as to where it goes from there.

As far as this forum being different than other forums, that's what we try to do. I have been on forums that if you ask a question, the usual keyboard commandos come out of the wood work and bash you for asking with language and insults.
If that happens here, that member is removed in a hurry, first with a vacation to reconsider if they want to continue here and usually through PM's that member voices their displeasure with the vacation so much that it is turned into a permanent vacation and the problem is solved.

It's really a no brainer.
