What is involved with putting the saddlebag guards on the 2012 street glide, and what would the cost be about?

    Thanks Charlie.

I have changed the bag guards on my Electra. Only simple hand tools are involved. Often there is good prices on ebay. If you don't buy a complete kit, make sure all parts are compatable. Some require 2 mounting holes in the crash bar, some only 1.

Put a set on my EG cost me $75. bucks on craigslist for complete set plus the two forward leather bags. Basic hand tools to install, real easy project about an hour to do.
