Hey gang
Went on a 600 mile raod trip last week and lost my retention bolt on my rear fender Do I need to take the rear tire off to replace the captive nut part
2009 RKC
PS I did replace the stock seat witha Single Seat before the Trip

Thanks
Bill

You should not need to remove the rear wheel. Lift the bike enough to take the weight off the rear tire. Should give you enough room to get your hand in there. If not, remove the lower shock mount bolts and lift the bike some more.

Buy a new well nut , put it on a zip tie, stick it thru the hole, install the clip, let the zip tie fall out:s
