Removing The Factory Fender Paint Protector

Just a quick tip here,

If you are thinking of running a solo seat and wish to remove the factory clear plastic paint protector on the rear fender, try this...
Warm the plastic with a blow dryer until the whole area is warm and lift the corner and peel it off. Any adhesive that may remain can be removed with WD40 and a rag.
I try not to use a heat gun for something like this because too much heat can damage the paint.
