I have a flhpi and I want to know if I could remove the right front brake and rotor,is there a safety things about removing the one caliper, If not is there anything I would have to do besides pluging the brake line.I would like to powder coat the front wheel and I would like the see more of the wheel. thanks

It could be done but why would you want to sacrifice stopping power just for looks and on a heavy bike too?

You are loosing a lot of braking area if you ride frequently. If you are building for show and go (less stop) then yes, you can do it. Perhaps not should but, you can.

We pull the right front caliper off our drag bikes all the time, but heres what i will say to that, We dont ride them on the street, and i truly wouldnt suggest doing it to anything street ridden, The harley braking system is rudimentry and poor, combined with the weight of your bike your asking for trouble :s
