Let's say that someone took a rear shock off and laid it down without putting a pipe plug in the air valve hole and all of the oil leaked out. Would you put Type E fork-oil in it or what, and how much?

Read the "Self Help" and I think I have everything except the "expensive hanger". One of the posts said that stock is 5 W - Does that mean that HD (front) fork oil is 5 W?
