Here is the situation. I just rebuilt the carb on 04 Fatboy. I followed Gliders advice on Twin Cam carb tuning and jetting. Best info I have found yet. Any the problem is this. I took the girl out for a ride the other day to warm her up so I could tune the carb. While I was riding I noticed that she would hesitate or stutter real bad around 1/8 - 1/4 throttle. If i could get the bike to power past this point she ran strong. I got back to the house and tried adjusting the a/f mixture.
She didn't start to stumble until the screw was fully seated then when I backed it out to wear it ran steady again +1/4 i took it back out and the same thing real bad hesitation in the same throttle position. Her are the carb stats:
jetted at 190 and 46
needle shimmed at .050
a/f mixture 2 1/2 turns out.
previous owner drilled the slide to 7/64th
Any help would be great. Thanks in advance.
