I installed the hogtune 6 speaker set with tweeter bar. Have everything mounted and located the equalizer where recommended by hogtunes. Installed a diode on the wire to the cig lighter also. Problem I have is I hear motor spark noise thru the speakers what can I do to eliminate this? Should I remove the diode?

Diode wont matter.
Radio is picking up EMF from amp.
Not uncommon.

Check ground connections including the antenna. Are you running aftermarket plugs or wires?

You need to talk to some industrial electronics folks about a 12volt efi filter. I use to put filters on new machines going to Europe to meet ce requirements. It was safety precautions for controllers in the cabinets.
