radio help on an 06 electra glide standard

So here"s the problem. The bike has a pioneer radio installed and it works fine except that when you hit the scan button it won't pick up a station. but if you just tune in a station it works fine so we know the antenna is plugged in at least. The bike has a hidden antenna if it helps. Any ideas?

Try putting a antenna amplifier on it. It may not see a good signal during the scan (it might be just under what the value is for the scan) & still be able to pick up a station manually. Some radio's in the old days had a place to tune the antenna in the rear of the radio.
