I have my primary cover off..I see there is a chain groove in the tensioner shoe...about 1/16 inch deep on the front end of the shoe. Bike has 20,000 miles I can't find any spec for wear on this. Shoe cannot be replaced separately. I would have to buy the whole auto tensioner for $110.
    Any advice would be appreciated.
    Thanks

Normal wear. The link edges wear into the material, then when the chain rollers start contacting, the wear pretty much stops.
