PC-V auto tune module - do I really need one?

Hi newbie here,

Anyways, I am ordering a PC-V for my FLHX.... is there any benefit of getting the "auto tune" module if I am going to get the bike dyno tuned anyway???

I don't mind spending the money if I know the benefit. Hopefully someone can explain it to me.

if you are not doing any other mods you don't need auto tune

i've heard that new 02 bungs would need to be welded for the new sensors

depending on the year bike...

call dynojet they will give you the info.....

Thanks for the reply. Not sure about the 02 bungs being a problem, as far as I can tell its a plug and play deal.

I'm still debating on whether I should get the auto tune module and what benefits it may give m if I already have a custom map.

If you stick with a hi-flow intake & standard slip-ons you won't need the autotune modules. I did go with autotune because I have a 103" motor with true duals and they did not have a good map for my configuration. I plan on heads this winter too so it'll be interesting how that works out.
