Passenger Grab Rails & HD Adj Riders Backrest

Just installed the Passenger Grab Rails on my 11' RGU, already had the Adj. Riders Backrest on for 26k mi. Even though the installation info says to install the Rails over the top of the Backrest Lower mounting Assy., the whole Grab Rail sits too high off the fender, resulting in really crunching the bottom of the seat, anyone else seeing this? The Backrest base is P/n 52596-09A, the install sheet doesn’t cover this P/n. looks like to correct the situation, I’ll need to take a grinder to the Base unit. Have some high res pics to post after shrink them. Thanks to all.

Stopped by the Dealers today, problem solved, picked up a Sundowner Seat, fits great! The 2011 redesign of the Touring Seat was too big in the lower rear section, at least for me, for the fit up I was after, installing the Grab Rails
