Painted Parts
On painted parts a surface condition called “worming” has been reported by the Dealer network. Worming is a surface condition (on top of clear coat) that appears to the Dealer Technician as water marks that will not wipe off.
After investigation the root cause was determined to be packaging / protective tape remaining on the painted part surface in exposed sunlight. Furthermore, this condition was made worse by time in direct sunlight.

Recommendation
Please remove all protective tapes prior to placing product in direct sunlight. If the paint shows this condition you will need to make the repair and use the Light sanding/buff/blend labor code 1104.
