Oil Gauge Adapter

Ive found a dual oil gauge adapter. This mounts in the hole that the oil pressure sending unit mounts, at the right rear base of the rear jug. My question is,... I'm wondering if this would be a good place to also mount my thermal oil switch sending unit? By mounting this unit here, with my typical HD oil pressure sending unit. Would it be sufficient at sensing the oil's temperature? My scoots a 1993 EGC. This year doesnt have an additional threaded hole located next to the oil pan's drain plug.

It's on the high pressure feed side, so it should work. My question is, how will it look? I have an oil temp. on my '07, and can only picture the sending unit looking very conspicous in that location (unless you have a much smaller one). I think most evo oil temps, were in the same lines the oil coolers used, by the filter.
