Hello everyone! I recently bought my first HD; a Sportster 1200. I recently started riding last July, after my last deployment to OEF. I started with a Ninja 500, then a new Ninja 250. Between those two bikes, I put about 8k miles on two wheels.
I attended an event at Thunder Tower Harley-Davidson on the 13th of April. *It was a Military and Public Service event. *I went for the free food and to look around. *I arrived on my Ninja 250 and left on the Sportster.
What makes this story more interesting, is that I am stationed at Fort Bliss (El Paso), TX. I am TDY at Fort Jackson, SC. The last thing on my mind when I got here was buying a new motorcycle.
