I'm new to this forum but I've been riding for almost fifty years. I started riding British MCs and then turned to German bikes. I turned to Harleys to escape the "how many miles in a day" trap that I was in. I have, in the past, ridden across this Country too many times racing the clock (in my own head) and missing most of the beauty The United States of America has to offer. My first Harley was a soft-tail and that sure enough slowed me down but it was not the bike for me. So after saving for eight years I traded in the soft-tail and purchased a FLTRU. I am now finally enjoying "the ride" and the many beautiful places our Country has to offer. I hope to be able to contribute to this forum but will not post just to hear the clicking of my keyboard.
