new member that needs help!

Hello everyone,
I have an 05 883 sportster custom. I had it stored for winter and the battery died. I jumped it correctly (not backwards) with the charger and it blew a fuse. After the fuse was blown I had no speedo, odometer, or warning light indicators. I replaced the battery, then the fuse. The bike runs, warning indicator lights work, but still no speedo or odometer. I traced the wires and all looks good! Anyone have any clue why the speedo and odometer are dead?

What fuse blew?
Could there be another one blown?
Someone with more insight than me will have better ideas soon.

Grab your test light and check all the fuses first

Check all your plug connections too. Sometimes when bikes sit they may get some corrosion in the plug connections. Or maybe one got knocked loose.

Disconnect the battery, then unplug and replug all the connections you can find just to make sure it is all good, then reconnect the battery and try that.

If that doesnt work, then you may need to get a manual and try troubleshooting with it and wiring diagrams and a meter.
