Hey everyone, I just bought my first motorcycle after wanting one pretty much my whole life. Decided on a 2004 Road King Custom mostly because I'm 6'7" and wanted something I would be comfortable on. I'm in Norfolk and before yesterday had never ridden a motorcycle before. I look forward to riding a bunch and meeting more awesome Harley owners like the ones I've already met.

Welcome to the forum from Suwannee. That is a great model RK you have. I would suggest that since you have not ridden before that you look into a MSF safety course.

Welcome to the forum and to riding. There are a lot of great people on this forum who are ready to help so don't hesitate to ask. I whole-heartedly second HDDon's suggestion that you take the MSF course as soon as you can. I did, and it helped a lot.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I'm signed up for one of the Navy rider courses in August and plan to take a local course before then.
